About TenFootStripes

Why TenFootStripes?

Most people think the stripes on the highway are only two feet long—that’s how they look when you’re racing past at 70 miles per hour. In reality, those stripes are ten feet long. You only notice that when you slow down.

That’s the philosophy behind this site. Whether we are in the garage, out on the trail, or tackling a project at Base Camp, we believe in slowing down to get the details right.

Who We Are

Meet Tommy and Cerinia. For us, every adventure and every project is a story waiting to be told.

Guided by the belief that if a job is worth doing, it’s worth documenting, we created Ten Foot Stripes to be a window into our world. From quiet rural moments to the technical side of life on the road and at home, this is our honest record of the path we’re taking.

What We Do

At Ten Foot Stripes, you’ll find a mix of hands-on maintenance, smart technology integrations, and stories from the road. We don’t just show the finished product; we share the steps, the specs, and the "why" behind every decision.

Our goal is to create a resource that is as useful as it is authentic. We aren’t here to race through life; we’re here to notice the ten-foot stripes.
